"OPERATION NEW GLORY"

We are very proud to announce our newest mission, "OPERATION NEW GLORY". As you know, our organization was responsible for Louisiana Senate Concurrent Resolution NO. 101, passed during regular session, 2012, which formally/officially declares the month of May as "Military Appreciation Month" in Louisiana.

The goal of our mission is to replace any worn, tattered or unserviceable American flag with a NEW GLORY, throughout our Louisiana. We are seeking donations of NEW 3x5 flags, OR monetary donations (PayPal, www.laadvocacy.org) to purchase. During the weekend of April 26th/27th we will go to a predetermined, high profile location and distribute a new American flag to anyone who requests one, AND, we'll have "recon/strike" teams who will go into the community, and with permission, replace flags on/at a home.

ANY person, business, organization, group etc that would like to assist, please call (504)309-0898 OR email to peersupport@laadvocacy.org. Also, if anyone would like an "OPERATION NEW GLORY" flier, please email us and we'll send it to you.

News & Notes

As the year 2013 draws to a close we'd like to thank everyone who supported our organization, and most importantly, our military families who have or presently serve our great nation. This year saw some significant growth and expansion and we were able to assist many. In as much, our organization is dedicated to advocating for more accessible care, timely resolution to disability claims, and as we have always done, strongly advocating for our businesses & citizens to consider keeping donations in OUR Louisiana.

In the new year we'd like to do 3 things immediately,

-Create a new website,

-"Post" & advertise a year in review summary so that all of our supporters can see that your support is helping to make a difference,

-Begin frequent gatherings of our "Peer Support & Mentoring" group.

We are so very proud to say that we know our efforts are working, we have families that now have hope instead of despair. Others are building programs similar to ours, and we are flattered.

Again, THANK YOU ALL for your continued support. We very much look forward to more growth and expansion in 2014 so that we can achieve "JUST ONE LESS". Have a Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, prosperous new year.

WARRIOR FAMILY UNITY PROJECT

NOLA Patriots Inc. is very proud to announce OUR mission, the WARRIOR FAMILY UNITY PROJECT ! Our mission is to provide services and/or assistance to the spouse and dependents of our warriors during the pre and post service transition. Many services become unavailable to the families post service, however it is vitally important to maintain family unit during the transition. When miltary service ends the "care" for our warriors shouldn't !! It is the goal of NOLA Patriots Inc. to become a statewide "link" that can and will provide continued assistance to OUR warrior families.
